Custom new construction, two blocks from the ocean

107 Manhattan Ave is a 4,767 square foot custom home on a 2,906 square foot lot in Hermosa Beach. Joseph Fournier designed it. Levine Homes Real Estate and Construction built it as general contractor and handled the sale as broker.

A street-to-alley lot that changed the plan

The lot runs from the street to the alley. We planned two homes with a driveway on each side. The city’s driveway approvals on this lot did not support that plan, so we redesigned the project as one home.

Building through trade and material shortages

Trades and materials were hard to schedule and source for the whole job. Finishing the design package early and ordering ahead of need kept the work moving.
